SPECIAL MUSIC - We would like to thank Sue and Sandra Armstrong for their beautiful music on Sunday, July 25th.
GENERAL FUND - We need $3,000.00 per week to meet our 2010 budget. We received $1,702.00 and there were 94 people in attendance on Sunday, July 18th.
DREAM RIDE - Thank you for all your generous support of New Hope through Pastor Tom's riding in the Dream Ride. You pledged $600.00. 100% of the monies raised will go to the ministry of New Hope. Thank you for your support of this ministry. For those who pledged money, please either give cash or a check made payable to New Hope to Pastor Tom or you can mail a check to New Hope 25A Maple Ave., Quarryville, PA 17566. (If mailing it please note that it is for Tom Milligan's Dream Ride). Thank you again for your generosity.
PRAYER MEETINGS - Prayer meetings are held from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the church. We will meet every Wednesday to pray for each other, for our church, for our community, and for the world. Prayer is the heart of our church, please come and join us.
BAND OF BROTHERS MISSION PROJECT - The Band of Brothers are working on a local mission project. The actual material cost so far is $5,967.99 and we have raised $5,762.50. The project is going very well. If you have any questions concerning this project, please see Bob Brown, Steve Roten, or Ray Knarr. Again, thank you for all your prayers and support.
PW SHARING TABLE - The PW sharing table is in the lower front vestibule. We invite you to bring in produce, baked goods, small crafts, plants, etc. Anyone is invited to take anything home for a donation. The proceeds will be divided between the Solanco Food Bank and the Hunger Program of the Presbytery.
2010 MISSION TRIP PRAYERS - It has been asked that the church family keep this summer's mission trip in our prayers. Please pray for success in accomplishing the goals that will be set as well as spreading God's love to those we meet. Please pray for the participants from our church and those from other churches that will be there, safe traveling, and for the trip in general. Wednesdays are our designated day of prayer so please take time out of your busy schedules to say a prayer. Tentatively the following people are going on the trip: Sharon Davis, Alexis Davis, Steph Roten, Elizabeth Barlow, Olivia Heagy, John Burton, Casey Pierce, Jon Keefer, Dan Keefer, Jess Keefer, Jim Miller, Jimmy Mullen, Elaine Mullen, Jimmy Gordon, and Bob Brown.
UPDATED SUNSHINE LIST - The updated Deacon's Sunshine and Home Bound Members and Friends lists are on the table in the upper narthex. Please feel free to take one.
CHURCH FLOWER FUND - Contributions to the church flower fund may be made through Esther Ulrich (phone 548-2010). Flowers for the pulpit are $30 (two bouquets) each Sunday with the payment due by the previous Wednesday. This is a great way to honor loved ones for a birthday or anniversary or place flowers to the Glory of our Lord and Savior. The 2010 "flower calendar" is on the table in the narthex.
CHURCH BULLETIN REQUEST - Announcement Forms are available in the church office. To help ensure that your announcements (flowers, greeters, prayer concerns and events) and requests are complete, accurate and included on a specific date, please complete a form and place in the secretary's mail bin.
