NURSERY MURAL
YOUTH GROUP MEETINGS - The Jr. and Sr. high youth groups meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Jr. high youth includes grades 6 through 8 and Sr. high includes grades 9 through 12. Come join the fun!!
JR. FELLOWSHIP - Grades K thru 5 will gather every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in room 4 in the first floor Sunday school wing. Together we will study our "Favorite Bible Heroes and Stories" and enjoy crafts, games, and snacks. Come join the fun! Questions should be directed to Peggy Gordon (548-2638) or Trish Blough (548-2630).
SPAGHETTI DINNER - The youth groups will be having a sit down family style ALL-U-CAN-EAT SPAGHETTI Dinner on Saturday, February 11th at 6:00 p.m. Cost is $7.00 per person, $12.00 per couple, and ages 5 and under are free. Babysitting will be provided. Tickets should be purchased ahead or reservations made. See any youth or youth leader for tickets. there will be a "servant auction" and games after the meal. All funds raised will be used toward future mission trips. Tentatively we will be serving spaghetti, meat sauce, applesauce, French bread, desserts, coffee, tea, and orange kool-aid drink.
The youth groups are asking for volunteers to help out on Saturday, February 11th and for donations of food and supplies for our Spaghetti dinner. There will be sign up sheets around the shurch. We will be meeeting on Saturday, February 11th at 2:00 p.m. to prepare and set up.
DRIVE-THRU PASSION PLAY - The youths are thinking about doing a Drive-Thru Passion Play for Easter this year. Due to the amount of work and volunteers needed, we are wondering who would be interested in helping out. If you are interested, please contact Jimmy Gordon or Bob Brown. Depending on the amount of responses we receive we will determine if we can do the play this year. Tentatively, the date would be March 31st.
The Jr. & Sr. High youth groups are making plans to go on a mission trip to Broadalbin, NY the week of July 8 through July 14, 2012. We will be making arrangements through Reach Workcamps. The cost per person (workcamper) will be $399.00 plus transportation. We will be planning fundraisers to help dreray the costs of the trip. This trip is open to anyone who would like to go.
